Usually, you’d avoid wet season at any destination for optimal touring conditions. But, when it comes to touring in Nicaragua, you can reconsider this typical idea. When traveling in Nicaragua during the dry season from November to April you’ll notice the land is, well, very dry. The brown and barren landscape is still unique and breathtaking. But, certainly the landscape is much prettier and wondrous during the wet season between May and Octuber. At this time You can expect more lush and green surroundings. Plus, during the wet season, you’re unlikely to encounter days and days of continuous rain. More likely, a heavy downpour for half an hour to one hour or so. That means, even during the wet season, you’ll mostly tour in dry condition particulary in the pacific and northern regions. In the pacific lowland the weather is very hot with temperatures reaching 32°C or more. During the evening and night time the temperatures often drop to 25°C, only goes down to 21°C for end of year.
