This fantastic ADVENTURE will allow you see as much of Nicaragua´s volcanoes in a shorter amount of time.

you will start doing volcano boarding down the youngest volcano in Nicaragua, Cerro Negro. Essentially, you’ll complete an 1 hour hike to the top starting from 300 meters above sea level up to 726meters high then, with a need for speed, you’ll experience the volcano boarding spectacle, as you slide down the active volcano in withing 5 minutes. If the idea of volcano boarding sounds too much for you, there’s always the option to slide down the slopes of Cerro Negro on foot.                            

After that, you´ll continue the adventure driving on narrow dirt and sand roads between crops fields toward the slopes of your next volcano, Telica. You will stop in a small village for lunch with a family. 

On Telica the second part of your hike start at a treeless area half way up. From this point to the top you will enjoy a beautiful volcanic landscape, with cone-shaped peaks shooting up in seemingly every direction. This is the Nicaragua Volcanic Chain, and it’s magnificent. Once on top you will discover a giant smoking crater, a perfect spot for a photo session along with your team. Finally; you´ll move apart from the crater area following another trail to the best lookout point where you can have a much better perspective of the whole volcano and take the best pictures while enjoying the sunset. For the descent you´ll hike on the same path using flash lamp to return to your private vehicle and travel back to Leon city.
